To Everything There is a Season...

I cut almost fifty blooms and hosta leaves from my garden.

To grace the tables for a memorial lunch today.

A time to plant, a time to reap...

A time to be born, a time to die...

A time to weep, a time to laugh,
A time to mourn, a time to dance...
A time to every purpose under heaven.
Take care my friends and enjoy this beautiful day.

Such beautiful flowers. Mine have almost bit the dust. Too dry and too hot. I am glad I can enjoy yours.

So pretty. All of our hydrangeas are dry and dying. Maybe next year?

Beautiful Penny. I use my hosta leaves in arrangements too. Have you ever taken a hosta leaf, in a clear glass vase, put it down at the bottom inside, along the side of the face, wrap it around? The water holds it in place, then put your flowers in . . . different and pretty!
