Autumn in the Neighborhood

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

Won't you be my neighbor?

I woke up with Mr. Rogers on my mind.  If you have children in your life, make sure to check out Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on PBS.  If you love Mr. Rogers, as I do, this new animation series continues the tradition of excellent children's programming on PBS.  PBS is a treasure for children and anyone with an inquisitive mind.

It really is a beautiful day in the neighborhood!  Have a great weekend my friends.

We moved from the Milwaukkee area to Baraboo, Wisconsin when Scott was five. His only worry . . ."Will they have Mr. Rogers . . .?"

Now you have me singing it . . . "will you be mine . . ."

Thank goodness for the wonderful PBS programming.

Beautiful Honey Locust neighborhood!
